Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data MocRoc (MocRoc Learning) collects, why, and the choices you have. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

What we collect

• Account details you give us: name, e-mail address and/or mobile number, exam, class, target year, state, city and school (optional).
• If you sign in with Google: your name, e-mail address and Google account ID. We never see your Google password.
• Your password, stored only in a protected (hashed) form.
• Your use of the app: tests started and submitted, answers, scores, time spent, bookmarks, reports and support messages, and when you open the app.
• Device details: device model, operating system and app version, used to keep your account secure and the app working.
• Payment records: amount, date, plan and the payment reference from the gateway. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by the payment gateway, not by us.

Why we use it

• To create and secure your account (including OTP verification) and to provide the tests, results, ranks and analysis.
• To process payments and give you access to the paid plan.
• To answer support requests and correct reported errors.
• To send you important messages about your account or plan. We send study offers only if you agree to them.
• To understand and improve the app, in aggregated form.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Service (hosting, e-mail and SMS delivery, payment gateway), only for that purpose, or when the law requires it.

Ranks

Ranks and percentiles are calculated from scores. Other students do not see your name, e-mail or mobile number.

Keeping and deleting data

• We keep your data while your account is open. You can delete your account at any time from Profile > Settings > Delete account; your personal details are then erased, and test records are kept only in anonymous form.
• Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires.

Your rights

You can see and correct your details in the app, withdraw consent, or ask us to delete your data. Write to support@mocroc.in.

Children

Students under 18 should use the app with the consent of a parent or guardian.

Security

We use encrypted connections, hashed passwords and access controls. No system is perfectly secure; tell us at once if you notice anything wrong.
